The name of the Inter-Agency Coalition for Family Policy in Quebec

Our group is essential for better action with and for families. This vision was one of the founders of RIOPFQ and it is still present today. The word group is a family word. When family members want to live a happy time, they want to get through a sad event, they want to make a trip or an important decision, they gather and share their vision.

Some may tend to replace these words with one: organizations. Grouping bodies for a family policy ... In the small word inter, we can immediately identify the importance of sharing. Indeed, the Coalition, organizations are not passive, but according to the events, occasions, they share between them their wealth, successes, experiences and sometimes they share their fears, difficulties and even failures. Furthermore, these resources are shared by nearly 100 organizations with people who are from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. You can still take the example here on families. Each member of a family with her talents, abilities experience enriches others.


For a family policy in Quebec
Again, we are faced with the obvious. After and through the creation of RIOPFQ, was established in Quebec family policy, it results in action. Then comes the importance of RIOPFQ. These measures, how they help families? How do they value the families? And one might well ask other questions. The role of the Coalition is to receive feedback from members in a friendly spirit and respect for different points of view. Then we try to inform our policy makers to inform both the elements that promote families and educate our fears and disappointments.
